Another Take
On The Recent Terrorist Act

I think this terrorist bombing is part of a world class chess game. The people who did this were not stupid. They spent years planning this operation and they understood the inner workings of the entire US intelligence apparatus. They are certainly smart enough to anticipate a rash and emotional response from this administration. I can't imagine that these people have not planned and put in place an effective counter move to the administration response. He who is in a proactive mode has a much better advantage than the person who is in the reactive mode. He who chooses the field of battle holds advantage. I think the administration might be walking into a well-laid trap.

The people who implemented this terrorist act were Arab extremists, but I really think Russian intelligence. This was beyond the capabilities of any Arab group. Russia stands to gain greatly from any conflict in the Middle East. Russia is one of the world's largest oil producers and they export oil. Any conflict that causes a shut off or reduction of the flow of oil from the Middle East means increased oil prices and increased oil profits for Russia. Russia is also the primary arms supplier for Syria, Iraq and Iran. This includes military advisors and intelligence assets. In the past, Russia has always been the world's biggest supporter of terrorist programs around the globe.

I also believe there is coordination behind the scenes between Iraq, N. Korea, China and Russia. The U.S. military no longer has the ability to wage a war on three or more theaters thanks to military reductions by the last three administrations. The US military still has enough force to stomp the hell out of Iraq and maybe Iran in a regional war in the Middle East, but that may be the well laid trap. N. Korea over the past six months has moved its military forces up to the border with S. Korea. China has been staging for a cross channel invasion of Taiwan for two years now. What an opportunity! The US tied up in a regional war in the Middle-East and at the same time besieged with a continued series of devastating terrorist attacks against American citizens. The pawns we loose in this game may be Taiwan and S. Korea at the least.

The American leadership can afford to bankroll UN global police operations and they were able to afford dumping $200 billion down the Russian rat hole, (the Russian leadership diverted probably 40% of this money into strategic weapon systems), but the American leadership can't seem to afford missile defense for this nation's civilian population. Russia has a very good national missile defense system in spite of their moaning and protests over our attempts to develop one. I hope no one decides to send us a nuclear present via airmail (ICBM), because we don't have any way to catch it right now. One nuclear missile on a US city will make the World Trade Center look like small potatoes! N. Korea and Iran can send that type of mail these days.

Right now, these guys in government are running around trying to use all their fingers to plug the security leaks in the dike of the airline industry. The cows are already out of the barn, the terrorists won't even bother there again. The next time will probably be biological or maybe even nuclear.

It is all good and nice that the people of this country are pulling together in a patriotic and supportive manner, but this disaster never should have happened. This attack reflects a complete dereliction of duty on the part of the Federal Government at every level: the CIA, the FBI, NSA, FAA, President, Department of Defense, Justice Dept and the Congress. The last two administrations have gone out of their way to weaken this country's defense and national security. The Bush administration thought it's top priority should be education. The primary duty and responsibility of the Federal Government is to protect American people. The government should be focusing on Military Preparedness, National Defense, National Security and securing our borders.

Also, no one seems to want to talk about the reason why these people hate America, namely US foreign policy! Like today's medical profession, they want to put Band-Aids on the problem and suppress the symptoms with drugs instead of a more holistic approach of addressing the systemic problem.

There is not much you and I can do to change these actions that have been set into motion. The best thing you can do is prepare. Preparedness creates a buffer between you and any disaster, be it man made or natural. Prepare both spiritually and physically. Neither is very effective without the other. And get out of the way. As you can see the big cities will be the main target.

Action is the key. Turn your concerns into constructive action. Life gives us everything we need to do what we really need to do if we do our part. Prime the pump so that miracles can happen.

Thank you,
Philip Hoag

Here is a very profound e-mail forwarded to me by my dad.

Titled: It's long but worth the time George
From: Dr. Tony Kern, Lt Col, USAF (Ret)
Date: 14 September, 2001

Recently, I was asked to look at the recent events through the lens of military history. I have joined the cast of thousands who have written an "open letter to Americans." Like everyone else in this great country, I am reeling from last week's attack on our sovereignty. But unlike some, I am not reeling from surprise.

As a career soldier and a student and teacher of military history, I have a different perspective and I think you should hear it.

This war will be won or lost by the American citizens, not diplomats, politicians or soldiers.

Let me briefly explain. In spite of what the media, and even our own government is telling us, this act was not committed by a group of mentally deranged fanatics. To dismiss them as such would be among the gravest of mistakes.

This attack was committed by a ferocious, intelligent and dedicated adversary. Don't take this the wrong way. I don't admire these men and I deplore their tactics, but I respect their capabilities.

The many parallels that have been made with the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor are apropos. Not only because it was a brilliant sneak attack against a complacent America, but also because we may well be pulling our new adversaries out of caves 30 years after we think this war is over, just like my father's generation had to do with the formidable Japanese in the years following WW II.

These men hate the United States with all of their being, and we must not underestimate the power of their moral commitment.

Napoleon, perhaps the world's greatest combination of soldier and statesman, stated "the moral is to the physical as three is to one." Patton thought the Frenchman underestimated its importance and said moral conviction was five times more important in battle than physical strength.

Our enemies are willing - better said anxious -- to give their lives for their cause. How committed are we Americas? And for how long?

In addition to demonstrating great moral conviction, the recent attack demonstrated a mastery of some of the basic fundamentals of warfare taught to most military officers worldwide, namely simplicity, security and surprise.

When I first heard rumors that some of these men may have been trained at our own Air War College, it made perfect sense to me. This was not a random act of violence, and we can expect the same sort of military competence to be displayed in the battle to come. This war will escalate, with a good portion of it happening right here in the good ol' U.S. of A.

These men will not go easily into the night. They do not fear us. We must not fear them.

In spite of our overwhelming conventional strength as the world's only "superpower" (a truly silly term), we are the underdog in this fight. As you listen to the carefully scripted rhetoric designed to prepare us for the march for war, please realize that America is not equipped or seriously trained for the battle ahead. To be certain, our soldiers are much better than the enemy, and we have some excellent "counter-terrorist" organizations, but they are mostly trained for hostage rescues, airfield seizures, or the occasional "body snatch," (which may come in handy).

We will be fighting a war of annihilation, because if their early efforts are any indication, our enemy is ready and willing to die to the last man. Eradicating the enemy will be costly and time consuming. They have already deployed their forces in as many as 20 countries, and are likely living the lives of everyday citizens.

Simply put, our soldiers will be tasked with a search and destroy mission on multiple foreign landscapes, and the public must be patient and supportive until the strategy and tactics can be worked out.

For the most part, our military is still in the process of redefining itself and presided over by men and women who grew up with - and were promoted because they excelled in - Cold War doctrine, strategy and tactics. This will not be linear warfare, there will be no near "centers of gravity" to strike with high technology weapons.

Our vast technological edge will certainly be helpful, but it will not be decisive.

Perhaps the perfect metaphor for the coming battle was introduced by the terrorists themselves aboard the hijacked aircraft -- this will be a knife fight, and it will be won or lost by the ingenuity and will of citizens and soldiers, not by software or smart bombs.

We must also be patient with our military leaders.

Unlike Americans who are eager to put this messy time behind us, our adversaries have time on their side, and they will use it. They plan to fight a battle of attrition, hoping to drag the battle out until the American public loses its will to fight.

This might be difficult to believe in this euphoric time of flag waving and patriotism, but it is generally acknowledged that America lacks the stomach for a long fight. We need only look as far back as Vietnam, when North Vietnamese General Vo Nguyen Giap (also a military history teacher) defeated the United States of America without ever winning a major tactical battle.

American soldiers who marched to war cheered on by flag waving Americans in 1965 were reviled and spat upon less than three years later when they returned.

Although we hope that Osama Bin Laden is no Giap, he is certain to understand and employ the concept. We can expect not only large doses of pain like the recent attacks, BUT! also less audacious "sand in the gears" tactics, ranging from livestock infestations to attacks at water supplies and power distribution facilities.

These attacks are designed to hit us in our "comfort zone" forcing the average American to "pay more and play less" and eventually eroding our resolve. But it can only work if we let it.

It is clear to me that the will of the American citizenry - you and I - is the center of gravity the enemy has targeted. It will be the fulcrum upon which victory or defeat will turn. He believes us to be soft, impatient, and self-centered. He may be right, but if so, we must change.

The Prussian general Carl von Clausewitz, (the most often quoted and least read military theorist in history), says that there is a "remarkable trinity of war" that is composed of the (1) will of the people, (2) the political leadership of the government, and (3) the chance and probability that plays out on the field of battle, in that order.

Every American citizen was in the cross hairs of last Tuesday's attack, not just those that were unfortunate enough to be in the World Trade Center or Pentagon.

The will of the American people will decide this war. If we are to win, it will be because we have what it takes to persevere through a few more hits, learn from our mistakes, improvise, and adapt. If we can do that, we will eventually prevail.

Everyone I've talked to in the past few days has shared a common frustration, saying in one form or another "I just wish I could do something!" You are already doing it. Just keep faith in America, and continue to support your President and military, and the outcome is certain. If we fail to do so, the outcome is equally certain.

God Bless America

E-mail Questions and Answers

Question:
I recently listened to a radio interview you had with Witley Strieber. I found it very disturbing to say the least. My question is this, if you know all this information, about the soviets and their master plan, don't you think somebody in the military or government realm has either A: knows the the same information you do and has already taken to account of possible scenarios, and has already taken counter effective taktics. Or B: read your book and decided to look at it seriously. Or C: the entire us intelligence agencies are just that naive about what the soviets and chinese are doing, which I completly doubt. You never know. We might be the ones setting the trap.

Answer:
Many of the older military people know exactly what is going on. The new guys have to kiss up to the global agenda if they want to progress in the ranks. This includes attending C.F.R. sponsored indoctrination seminars. The Clinton administration went out of its way to rid the Pentagon and the CIA of any leadership that was not a communist apologist. If you have communist apologists as bosses you don't tend to speak up too much, not at least if you want to keep your job. Bush could have undone much of this when he came into office and cleaned house of all the Clinton appointees in the justice, defense and intelligence communities, but he did not. Reason why, both Clinton and Bush are members of the C.F.R.

The C.F.R. is the globalist party.

Question:
I am a single mother of 2...my question is how do I prepare my family with EXTREMELY limited income? these are all wonderful suggestions & ides..however for me & mine? the $$ isn't there! the food we are good to go on...the rest? Gods!! we are screwed!! we live in a town where there is a tank plant, a chemical plant and an oil refinery! as well as a local Ford engine plant! when the WTC incident went down...i picked my boy up early from school...and we had our stuff ready to make a run for it! my daughter is 3 , the boy is 8...we have an air rifle ...and a butt ton of ammo..**we aren't allowed to have REAL guns in gov't subsidized housing** i am as prepared as i can be under our current income status... so...any suggestions? thanks for your time!

Answer:
There is purpose in life. When we finally come to the realization or desperation and decide that we can't do it on a human level, that is when we open up to higher possibility. I have found that life, God or what ever you want to call it, has a solution to every problem if we will surrender our resistance or attachment to our present circumstance. All of us deal with this on one level or another. I have also found that if I move forward with faith, even when I can't see how it is possibly could happen, life always meets my needs. It may not be what I expected or exactly what I wanted, but from a spiritual standpoint it was always what I needed in the long run from the perspective of hindsight. The most important point is to start cooperating with life. See every thing that crosses your path or confronts you as something that was sent to you for the purpose of teaching or refining you. See life's events as a conspiracy to spiritually transform you. Take responsibility for what life puts on your doorstep and embrace it. Ask life what it is trying to teach you.

What you can conceive and believe you can achieve. The only limitations all of us have are our own internal concepts of subconscious limitation. We can rise no higher than what we believe we can. This may not be the answer you were looking for, but it is the only real solution to the problem. Deal with this and all the rest will fall into place.
