Military Strike Against Iraq Definite: Kuwaiti Newspaper 8/18/02 Kuwaiti Ambassador to Washington Sheikh Salem Al-Jaber has carried home a US message that a strike against Iraq is definite and it is only a matter of time, the Kuwait Times reported on Sunday.

What will Saddam do if the US attacks?
Saddam may consider initiating a preemptive strike against Israel with weapons of mass destruction. Saddam realizes that he does not have much chance of winning a war with the US military forces on the conventional field of battle. Even with the upgrade of his air defenses, courtesy of Czechoslovakia and Red China, Saddam can not prevail in the long run unless there is an unexpected diversion in another part of the world. This could potentially be:
1. A move by the Red Chinese to take Taiwan and or a North Korean move to invade South Korea
2. Iran, Egypt and the Saudis entering the fray on the side of Saddam
3. A massive strike by terrorist cells on domestic US targets with biological or nuclear weapons.
Egypt, Iran and Saudi Arabia
For better or worse, the Arab world sees the handwriting on the wall. The international corporate interests have been scheming for years on how they were going to get the vast oil reserves out of the Caucasus / Caspian region for use by the US and Europe. The only feasible routes were across Iran or Afghanistan. Iran was too antagonistic and harder to invade. The Arabs now see what the US was willing to do to Afghanistan in order to get a new oil pipeline in place. Negotiations with Binladen for this pipeline were broken off in April of 2001 because Binladen wanted too big of a cut. US military preparations for the invasion of Afghanistan actually started in June of 2001. Binladen has no particular love for the US, but there still is no real evidence linking Binladen to the September 11th terrorist act. Bin Laden did commit one mortal sin. He curtailed the cultivation of poppies and the production of opium in Afghanistan. Before the Taliban, Afghanistan produced 40 percent of the world's opium. Now with the removal of the Taliban, opium production is again beginning to flourish in Afghanistan. There is more money in the international drug trade then there is in oil. Why Afghanistan? They seem to have been in the way of the two biggest financial stakes of the planet, oil and drugs.

Many of the Arab states may be thinking that it is only a matter of time before they will be the next target of international media wrath and a US blitzkrieg. There are only two options, either roll over and give in to Western corporate interests or cast your lot in with Saddam. Once Iraq is wiped off the map Iran will certainly be next on the agenda. Egypt, Iran and Saudi Arabia all have missiles capable of striking Israel and US military forces in the region.

What would the Israeli response be to missile attacks from Egypt, Iran and Saudi Arabia?
Israel has nuclear and neutron weapons and all the advanced means of delivering them. The Israelis have three German made diesel electric submarines, (very quiet and hard to locate), with sub launched cruise missiles. Without question, backed into a corner, the Israeli weapons would fly.
How would the US, Russia and China respond if the Israelis used nuclear weapons against Arab states?
Russia
Iraq is Russia's stepchild. The KGB built Iraq's intelligence apparatus and Russia is Saddam's chief arms supplier. Why do the Russians back Saddam? The Russian leaders have always been long-term strategists. On the other hand, the US leadership typically employs a strategy of reactionism. The US moves in directions based on reacting to threats. I believe that it is not above the Russian elite to engineer mischief in the Middle East. The Middle East is the source of America's lifeblood, oil. The Art of War, as outlined by Sun Tzu, involves deception. This includes utilizing attacks by seemingly independent surrogates for the purpose of weakening or destroying your opponent.
China
China has been moving at break neck speed to build a military infrastructure capable of supporting global military action. The Chinese have also been building up their military forces on the coast across from Taiwan for the last two years. The best opportunity for them to strike would be when the US was fully engaged in another major military action. The US can no longer send in the Seventh Fleet to stop a Red Chinese invasion of Taiwan. New Russian military technology and hardware transferred to the Red Chinese has changed the equation on the Taiwan issue. The Red Chinese now have advanced aircraft, Kilo class diesel electric submarines, Sunburn anti ship missiles and advanced Sovremenny class destroyers. Presently it would be suicide for US aircraft carriers and battle groups to enter the Formosa Strait. The US does not have an onboard anti missile system capable of mounting an effective defense against the Sunburn missile.
Coincidentally, the Russians have also upset the balance of power in the Persian Gulf. They supplied the Iranians with the same Kilo class submarines and Sunburn anti ship missiles.
Potential Collusion?
I cannot imagine that Saddam has not sent secret envoys to Red China, Egypt, Iran, Saudi Arabia and even Russia asking them for coordinated intervention in the event of a US attack. What would you do if you were sitting in his shoes right now?
Iraqi Bio Terrorism
As we mentioned earlier, Saddam has always had close ties with Russia. For many years now the Russians have maintained the world's most advanced bio weapons programs. According to Ken Albelibek, a defector who directed Russia's bio warfare program, the Russians used gene splicing to manufacture Ebolapox. According to an 8/1/2002 article US intelligence thinks Saddam has a laboratory that is making Ebola virus.

It is not unreasonable to consider the possibility that the Russians supplied Saddam with a small vile of Ebolapox for use as a starter culture. With the assistance of Russian technical personnel and a small vile of Russian Ebolapox, Saddam could feasibly produce large volumes of Ebolapox for terrorist attacks against Israel and US civilian targets. At this time there is no immunization that will protect humans from Ebolapox.

War Is A Racket

War is just a racket. A racket is best described, I believe, as something that is not what it seems to the majority of people. Only a small inside group knows what it is about. It is conducted for the benefit of the very few at the expense of the masses.
I believe in adequate defense at the coastline and nothing else. If a nation comes over here to fight, then we'll fight. The trouble with America is that when the dollar only earns six percent over here, then it gets restless and goes overseas to get 100 percent. Then the flag follows the dollar and the soldiers follow the flag.
I wouldn't go to war again as I have done to protect some lousy investment of the bankers. There are only two things we should fight for. One is the defense of our homes, and the other is the Bill of Rights. War for any other reason is simply a racket.
There isn't a trick in the racketeering bag that the military gang is blind to. It has its "finger men" to point out enemies, its "muscle men" to destroy enemies, its "brain men" to plan war preparations, and a "Big Boss" Super-Nationalistic-Capitalism.
It may seem off for me, a military man, to adopt such a comparison. Truthfulness compels me to. I spent thirty-three years and four months in active military service as a member of this country's most agile military force, the Marine Corps. I served in all commissioned ranks from Second Lieutenant to Major-General. And during that period, I spent most of my time being a high-class muscle-man for Big Business, for Wall Street, and for the Bankers. In short, I was a racketeer, a gangster for capitalism.
I suspected I was just part of a racket at the time. Now I am sure of it. Like all the members of the military profession, I never had a thought of my own until I left the service. My mental faculties remained in suspended animation while I obeyed the orders of higher-ups. This is typical with everyone in the military service.
Earth Changes and Solar Flares
On Tuesday, Aug 20, 2002 a series of large earthquakes one measuring 7.7 on the Richter scale, struck deep in the Pacific Ocean south of the Fiji Islands. Also, we are currently at the height of a historically unprecedented sunspot cycle. According to research done by Russian scientist A.L. The solution?
There is a lot of fat in the frying pan right now and the heat keeps increasing. We are seeing an acceleration in the mass unconscious of humanity, things are getting on edge on a global level. Things could easily accelerate to a flashing point. Crisis is a benefit in the sense that it causes people to seek solutions. People in crisis tend to give up on external power solutions and to go within. The fall of the Roman Empire and the resulting social instability, was the crisis that facilitated the spread of Christianity. I am not a warmonger and I do not visualize doom and gloom in the future. I see the current world situation as a spiritual crisis. External power is not the solution. Resolution will only come through internal spiritual conversion. The "them and us" duality consciousness, be it on a personal or national level can only lead to further suffering, death and destruction and a further centralization of power on a global scale. For many of us, crisis seems to be a catalyst for spiritual growth. Many times we have to exhaust human external power solutions before we can be receptive to the voice of the soul. It is a good time to seek closer contact with your soul and its needs. Our own individual spiritual stability greatly contributes to the stability of the whole. I think we need to focus on seeking spiritual solutions within in our own lives.

Contact with the soul is the only real source of miracles. Internal power is infinitely stronger than external power! This is not a concept that the human intellect or ego can easily grasp. The infinite power of the soul can only be comprehended through direct personal experience. Seek that experience!
Preparedness
On a practical level, we all need to keep a spare tire in our trunk. The nature of life itself is change. Preparedness is a good idea in our troubled and changing times. Try not to let your focus get dragged into feeding potentially negative scenarios in the future. We can all make our fears into self-fulfilling scenarios. Be practical and prepared and extend good will to all.
